The Certified HIPAA Security Specialist exam validates knowledge and skills in the core areas of HIPAA Administrative Safeguards, Physical Safeguards, Technical Safeguards and Security Technology Fundamentals.
CHSS Exam Prerequisite Knowledge
In order to be eligible for CHSS certification, the candidate must currently be a Certified HIPAA Professional (CHP).
*Important note: CHSS is level 2 of HIPAA certification. In order for HIPAA Academy to issue CHSS certification you must have Certified HIPAA Professional (CHP) credential.
